To encourage the passion for success among young Nigerian ladies, Always – leading Nigerian sanitary towel brand – hosted a group of ladies to a relaxed dinner at Zen Garden Restaurant, Ikeja Lagos with award winning artiste – Chidinma ‘Miss. Kedike’ as the special guest.
The event brought the ‘Always Celebrating Friendship’ program to a close. The program was a fun online platform through which ladies were encouraged to celebrate and value the friends in their lives.
At the event, P&G’s Always Brand Public Relations Manager, Olatomiwa Akande explained that the ‘Always Celebrating Friendship’ program emphasizes the part that women need to play in motivating each other to achieve greatness.
“Being a highly successful Nigerian artiste at a young age, Chidinma was seen as a great fit for this program. Her story is inspiring we wanted her to share it with the Always’ fans. This is in line with Always’ brand purpose of empowering girls to live their lives to the fullest”, Akande said.
Chidinma spoke with the ladies saying that being focused is crucial to being successful. She stressed the need to be adequately prepared and to follow through in achieving ones dreams, even in the face of difficulties.
Chidinma encouraged Always to keep up the good work saying that “I am really excited when I get to share my experience with girls to help motivate them; I always look forward to this kind of activity. For me it is way above music because it’s a way of prodding people to become better.”
