Amosun Hail Oba Gbegande Of Ososa On 5th Coronation Anniversary


The Ogun State Governor Senator Ibikunle Amosun has commended Gbegannde of Ososa, Alaiyeluwa Oba Dr. Adetoye Alatishe, the Ilufemiloye-Ogunroyega VI for his progressive reign on the throne in Ososa and Ijebu land in general.

Governor Amosun, represented by his Deputy, Chief (Mrs.) Yetunde Onanuga commended the monarch during the thanksgiving service to round off the celebration of the royal father’s fifth (5th) coronation anniversary, saying that his kingship has brought remarkable growth to the Ijebu kingdom.

Amosun said that his administration has enjoyed warm relationship with residents of Odogbolu local government and Ososa people in particular since he assumed office over four years ago.

The Governor prayed God to give the monarch the grace for more celebrations, peaceful and beneficial reign over his kingdom.

In his remarks, the chairman of the occasion, the Olu of Itori, Oba Abdu-fatai, Akamo, thanked the Ogun state government for his developmental projects, saying people have never had it so good. He further congratulated the monarch noting that his selfless service has brought tremendous improvement to the people of Ososa.
