He declared that his heart was full of joy because “all these years, satanic forces bared their fangs in making sure they use us Igbo to cause very serious crises in the state, but through the special grace of God, we became wiser than those forces of darkness, and we refused to dance to their music of rioting and crises. “

“Today, I have given out Igbo titles to very few carefully selected deserving personalities, one among them are husband and wife of Igbo origin who are living in America for many years now. They have all their children born in America.

“And for the first time they came to Nigeria with these beautiful children, and they visited me in my country home, Igbo Ukwu few some  years back with these children.

“To my greatest surprise, I saw all these children who were born in America and were visiting Nigeria for the very first time since they were born, all speaking Igbo language even better than Igbos who reside in Igboland.

“I then inquired from their mother the magic. She informed me that they made it compulsory that as soon as these children are back from school, all members of the family change to our Igbo language in all their communications.

“I was so impressed that I decided to give them this title to send message across to every other Igbo family the world over, the importance of teaching our children our Igbo language, no matter where we reside all over the world.”
