House of Representatives member representing Lagelu/Akinyele Federal Constituency of Oyo State and Action Democratic Party (ADP) Oyo South Senatorial candidate, Temitoye Olatoye Sugar is dead
He died today at the intensive care of the University College Hospital Ibadan where he was receiving treatment after he was shot during Gubernatorial and House of Assembly elections
One report says he was allegedly shot in the eye by political thugs, another says by suspected gunmen in Lalupon area of Lagelu Local Government and rushed to the accident and intensive unit of the UCH for treatment.
But as at filing this report, it was not clear those responsible for the shooting as police could not give details of the incident.
The Head of Public Relations of the teaching hospital, Toye Akinrinlola, confirmed his death at 8:20 pm
