In furtherance of his collaborative efforts in providing a conducive learning spaces and upgrading the standard of education in Ibadan North East / South East local government areas of Oyo State, the House of Representatives member representing the constituency, Hon. Adedapo Lam-Adesina on Friday commissioned a modernly renovated set of two classrooms block in I.M.G Primary School 5, Eleta Ibadan. 

 

The event which coincided the closure of the second term academic programmes of the public in the state attracted electric fanfares amongst the jubilant students, teachers, parents, residents and supporters of the ruling All Progressives Congress, APC drawn from the both council areas represented by the lawmaker in the Green chamber of the national assembly. 

 

Elder Gbadebo Akinlolu, the Chairman, All Nigerian Conference of Principal of Public Secondary Schools, ANCOPSS Ibadan South East local government while addressing the crowd at the occasion hailed the unprecedented people-oriented representations coupled with the seamless series of the quality programmes packaged by the Honourable since his election. 

 

Akinlolu therefore urged the programmatic parliamentarian to accord more attention to the secondary schools in the extra curriculum aspects; sporting activities always organized by the Omo Oloore Educational Support Scheme towards practical discovery hidden talents amongst young students across the federal constituency. 

 

The state secretary of the All Progressives Congress, APC, Alhaji Mojeed Olaoya in his remarks eulogized the diminitive lawmaker for renewing his late father’s goodwill and writing his name in gold with his strive through different ameliorating and purposeful programmes in making lives worth living for all and sundry. He further thanked the Honourable for promoting the image of the party with his time to time facilitation of lofty projects in human and social empowerment. 

 

Hon Lam in his expression restated his resolve to continuing promote the agenda that would have soothing impacts on every resident of his constituents. 

 

According to him “ My resolve to raise the bar of what was obtainable in the past in the anal of history of the assembly representations be it at the State or National level remains sacrosanct. 

 

“I won’t in the course of time  regress but progress with uncommon people-oriented programmes to mitigate the social and economic challenges of my constituents”  he concluded.

 

Omo Oloore as fondly called who availed the medium to highlight his heartwarming programmes in coming days in the various schemes of his initiatives, thanked the teeming people of his constituency for their cooperation and understanding regarding the systematic delivery of his electoral promises to every concerned institutions; communities, groups, professional, pressure organisations etc across the twenty two wards of his jurisdiction. 

 

Meanwhile, the Community Development Council, Ibadan South Local Government chapter has adopted Honourable Dapo Lam-Adesina as its candidate for the Ibadan North East / South East federal constituency in the next national assembly elections. 

 

Making the pronouncement at the Oyo APC political stars studded gathering, Alhaji Oloyede, the CDC chairman said Dapo Lam’s commitments toward grassroots development has let no one in doubt that the much expected new dawn in the growth and development of the grassroots in their council areas has come. He affirmed that the resolution had been unanimously made since last years.

 

The epoch making event which well attracted a galaxy of stars of movers and sakers of the politics in the state ruling APC had in attendance the Deputy Chairman, Alhaji Isiaq Adisa, the State Secretary, Alhaji Mogeed Olaoya, Dr. Kola Balogun, the Caretaker Chairman, Ibadan South East Local Government, Mr. Teslim Ajimobi, several candidates of the party in the forthcoming local government election in the state among whom were Alh. Sakiru Fajinmi, Lukman Abodunrin and others.
