The Ogun State Government has promised that it will continue to make life more bearable for all citizens living or working in the state.
The Commissioner for Community Development and Cooperatives, Alhaji Ademola Balogun, according to a statement on Saturday, gave the assurance at the presentation of a 500 KVA transformer to the Federal College of Education Osiele Abeokuta in Odeda Local Government Area of the state.
Represented by the Permanent Secretary in the ministry, Alhaji Fatai Ogunlana, the commissioner said the current administration would not discriminate among people living in Ogun, saying this was one of the reasons the governor gave the institution the 500 KVA transformer.
In his remarks, the Provost of the Federal College of Education, Dr. Rafiu Soyele, said the institution, established in 1976, has produced big names in society, appreciating the state government for the good gesture extended to the school with the donation of the transformer, appealing like an Oliver Twist to do more.
Soyele said that the donation of the transformer would help make life more bearable in the institution, promising to ensure that the transformer was guided against vandalism by unscrupulous elements.
