I Cannot Submit Myself To EFCC –Former Minister, Musiliu Obanikoro

The former Minister of State for Defence, Senator Musiliu Obanikoro has said he cannot submit himself to what he described as a glare witch hunt by officials of Economic and Financial Crimes Commission (EFCC). Obanikoro said while reacting to EFCC raid on his house yesterday. He said in a series of post through his Facebook page earlier today.

‘I cannot submit myself to such glaring witchhunt, Injustice and Charade but I’ll fight it legally, with God and Clear Conscience on my side’ he said.Koro 1

He also dare EFCC to publish any record of investigation of his wrong doing while he was a minister. He added that he has put close to two decades of his life and family to service Nigeria.

‘EFCC has never OFFICIALLY made public ANY investigation of my record in Government at ANY TIME before this Illegal Invasion of my house’.

‘I put close to two decades of into public service, in opposition and in government, all with unblemished record and a clear conscience’ he added.

He also deny that he never get any invitation from EFCC before invading his house yesterday.

‘Let me reiterate clearly: I have never received any invitation from EFCC over any issue up till date. This invasion therefore is premature’.

‘Furthermore, no Court ordered a Raid on my house or Seizure of my belongings. Any such move is Illegal and will be fought against legally’.

If you recall, the officials of the Economic and Financial Crimes Commission (EFCC) yesterday, stormed the Ikoyi home of former Minister of State for Defence, Mr Musiliu Obanikoro and allegedly went away with some vehicles and other valuables. Obanikoro was not at home when they visited, as he was said to be out of the country.
