Maku Picks Nasarawa APGA Gov Ticket


The immediate past Minister of Information, Labaran Maku, as picks All Progressives Grand Alliance (APGA) governorship ticket in Nasarawa State.   The party presented him and his running mate Ibrahim Abu on Saturday for the forthcoming general elections.

Chairman of the party in the state, John Amako, presented Maku and his running mate in Lafia, Nasarawa State, to the party’s officials and supporters from the 13 local government areas of the state.

According to the chairman, “by this pronouncement, all rumours making the rounds that Maku is not the governorship candidate of APGA in the state should be disregarded.”

He said the APGA national headquarters and all the stakeholders of the party in the state had endorsed the decision to present Maku as governorship candidate.
